Hi, I’m Jahaziel (or Jaziel with an H), and I’m the founder and CEO of Baja Sur Tours. After earning my degree in Alternative Tourism from the Autonomous University of Baja California Sur, I spent over ten years leading tours before deciding to start my own venture. My goal was to apply my experience and marketing knowledge in sustainable projects to create a tourism company that offers a more passionate, vivid, and interactive experience for those visiting Baja Sur.
We became pioneers by professionalizing day tours, training guides in marine biology, and forming a team of experts dedicated to offering an educational and enriching experience. Many companies have since copied this model, but as we were the first to establish it, we’ll always be one or two steps ahead of the competition. Our edge lies in the fact that we don’t just sell tours; we sell experiences that last a lifetime.
Moreover, we’ve embraced the digital era, modernizing every aspect of our business to offer fully automated service. Our packages are now available on many leading OTAs (Online Travel Agencies) such as Viator, Bókun, Get Your Guide, Civitatis, TourHQ, Kodama Travel as well as Google, and of course, on our own automated booking system. We don’t just focus on efficiently managing groups, but on everything it takes to run a truly professional company, always staying updated with the latest technological trends.
I’ve had the opportunity to guide people from all over the world and show them the wonders of Baja Sur, something I’m very proud of, as reflected in the reviews we’ve received on platforms like TripAdvisor, Google and social media. Although I originally planned to focus solely on managing my company, my passion for guiding and sharing these experiences has never let me step away from tours.
